Complex Tools, Fragmented Work
Traditionally, project planning and management often happened across different tools, forcing teams to piece together information as work moved forward. Switching between platforms made it easy to lose context and harder to see what needed attention.
The core challenge wasn’t a lack of tools. It was creating one connected workflow from project setup through execution and progress tracking.

Design Goals
Streamlined Experience
The goal was to make it easier for users to move from getting started, to organizing and managing work, handling the details, and keeping track of overall project progress without losing context.

Solutions
Start Projects with AI Plan
Users can upload existing project files and let AI generate a structured set of deliverables based on the content provided. This gives teams a faster starting point while still allowing them to review and refine the plan before moving into execution.
Manage Work from Multiple Views
Forge lets users switch between List, Kanban, and Sheet views without changing the underlying project data. This gives users more flexibility while keeping updates and progress consistent across the project.
Intuitive Functionality Hierarchy
Deliverable details bring the information users need to act—status, assignee, timeline, activity, files, comments, and more—into one focused view. Users can move into the details of a task without losing sight of where it sits within the larger project.
Browse Project Health at a Glance
The project dashboard brings progress, deliverable status, timeline, and team allocation into one view. It helps teams quickly see how work is going, what needs attention, and where to focus next.
Mobile Experience
Designed Across Devices
I also designed the Forge mobile app to make project information more accessible beyond the desktop experience. It gives users an easy way to check progress, review work, and stay connected to their projects anytime, anywhere.

Design System
Built for Consistency and Scale
I created a shared design system to keep the Forge experience consistent across the product. It also made it easier to design, iterate, and ship new features as the product continued to evolve and scale.
